Abstract

The SugarBlock Project is developing a groundbreaking protocol for live video streaming that is completely decentralized and highly scalable. It leverages a onchian token incentive system to operate as an integral live media layer within the decentralized web (Web3) framework. This project not only offers a robust alternative to existing centralized broadcasting platforms but also introduces an economically viable solution for broadcasters which reduces costs upto 80% from current centralized offerings.

Key Features of the SugarBlock Protocol:

  • Fully Decentralized: Operates without a central authority, ensuring no single point of failure or control.

  • Scalable Solutions: Designed to handle large-scale video streaming efficiently.

  • Token Incentives: Uses tokens to motivate participation and contribution to the network.

  • Delegated Stake Mechanism: A game-theoretical approach to securing the network through stake delegation.

  • Incentive Security: Implements methods to verify decentralized contributions and prevent wasteful or manipulative activities that could exploit the token distribution in an inflationary environment.

This protocol aims to redefine how live broadcasts are managed, offering both security and economic efficiency in a decentralized setting.
